Photographs of paintings taken with the bare minimal amount of light necessary to create an image. Looking at pictures of darkness feels like entering a dark space where your eyes need time to adjust, where only gradually you discern the details of an image. The longer you look, the more the image gets fixed in the mind. Some photographs in this series are almost monochromes of darkness, evoking questions about their nature, as a black surface.
